The Designing Internet WebQuests workshop is a one-credit
workshop that will be graded on a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis.
It will be given entirely online, using this website, email, and a
discussion board. The information that you need to complete the
workshop is all available on the Web. You may use email to ask me
questions about individual projects, and the discussion board to ask
questions about the general ideas and procedures that the whole
class might wonder about.
Objectives
At the end of this workshop, participants will
- Create a WebQuest designed to teach a specific
population some information or skills, including all the
parts defined for a WebQuest.
- Publish their WebQuests on the World Wide Web.
- Be able to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of
WebQuests for teaching.

This workshop conforms to the policies and procedures of the
College of Education and Kent State University. It will be
graded on a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis. To receive the
one credit offered for the workshop, you will need to complete a
series of assignments satisfactorily.
