| This is a
workshop on how to design and develop a WebQuest which are educational activities that have been used by students
at almost all levels of education for a variety of topics. They encourage active and effective use of the World Wide Web and are usually done by students working in small groups.
Done well, they are interesting to students and have
caught the imagination of teachers. Research still needs
to be done on how effective they are and in what
circumstances. In this workshop, you will pick a topic for your
WebQuest, prepare the materials for it, and make a small website
that embodies the WebQuest. The process should take two weeks, and you should
put in enough time to make one that you will want to use.
