Linking to Your Site
Home Up Obtaining Quandary Planning a Maze Converting to the Web

It is important to give your students a way to go back to the rest of your web site when they have finished the maze. This can be accomplished by including a link to a URL in your maze. For example, you could include this link on all pages which come to a resolution of the problem presented in the maze. Or you could put it on all pages, if students are likely to quit a maze before finishing it.

To Insert a Link to a URL

  • Put the insertion point at the place where you want to place the link. Do this by clicking there.
  • Use the Insert menu and choose Link.
  • Choose Link to URL.
  • In the resulting dialog box, type the Web address and the text of the link.
  • If you want to use an image, such as a button, as the link, click the Picture button.
