• At the bottom are Guests, whose abilities to use avatars and props and do more advanced things are extremely limited.
• To move from Guest to Member, you need a registration code, which are hard to come by legally any more. Members have complete access to props and avatars, including making new ones. They can also become Wizards.
• To become a Wizard, you need the password for the Palace you are on. Thus, you could be a Wizard at one Palace but not at others. Being a Wizard lets you make and script rooms and doors, control the discussion, send general messages, and other things.
• At the top of the hierarchy are the Gods. Usually, a Palace God is the person who owns the Palace server. He/she will rarely give others the God password.

In order to put rooms on a Palace, make doors between them, enter scripts, and so forth, you need to have at least Wizard powers on a Palace. After that, many of the tasks are actually quite easy. Talk to the person who runs your Palace to find out the Wizard password. If you are in my classes, I can give you the Wizard password for my personal palace.
