Goal 1 Objectives

Main Step in Instructional Goal:

1. Set up the Equipment

 

Subordinate Objective for main step:

1.  Given a personal computer  with a mouse, keyboard, Windows
     operating system, Notebook Software, projector and a connected
     SMART Board with SMART Board tray pens and eraser, the student
     will verify that all vital components are in place and ready to operate.

       1.1a  Check that you have

Subordinate Objectives
1.1  Given a check list with equipment needed to operate the interactive
       whiteboard, the student will  determine that all equipment needed
        is available.
       
1.1a Given a personal computer  with a mouse, keyboard, Windows
                operating system, Notebook Software, projector and a connected
                SMART Board with SMART Board tray pens and eraser
                  the student will check off each equipment component
                 on the check list:
                 --Computer with Windows operating system
                 --Multimedia projector
                 --The SMART Board
                 --Tray pens
                 --Tray eraser
 
1.2  Activate and Ready the Equipment
       1.2a  Turn on multimedia projector
       1.2b  Boot up computer
       1.2c  Move SMART Board  and
                projector into place
       1.2d  Turn on multimedia
                projector's lamp
       1.2e  Focus the computer's
                projected image
       1.2f   Place Eraser and Pens in pen
                tray
1.2  Given a personal computer  with a mouse, keyboard, Windows
      operating system, Notebook Software, projector and a connected
      SMART Board with SMART Board tray pens and eraser, the student
      will move equipment and components  into place and activate
      equipment.
      1.2a  Given a personal computer  with a mouse, keyboard, Windows
               operating system, Notebook Software, projector and a connected
               SMART Board with SMART Board tray pens and eraser
               the student will turn on the multimedia projector
      1.2b  Given a personal computer  with a mouse, keyboard, Windows
               operating system, Notebook Software, projector and a connected
               SMART Board with SMART Board tray pens and eraser
               the student will turn on and boot up the computer
      1.2c  Given a personal computer  with a mouse, keyboard, Windows
                operating system, Notebook Software, projector and a connected
                SMART Board with SMART Board tray pens and eraser
                the student will move the SMART Board and projector into
                place making sure both are connected to computer
      1.2d  Given a personal computer  with a mouse, keyboard, Windows
                operating system, Notebook Software, projector and a connected
                SMART Board with SMART Board tray pens and eraser
                the student will turn on the multimedia projector's lamp
      1.2e  Given a personal computer  with a mouse, keyboard, Windows
                operating system, Notebook Software, projector and a connected
                SMART Board with SMART Board tray pens and eraser
                the student will use the projector's focus to project a clear image
                on the SMART Board
      1.2f   Given a personal computer  with a mouse, keyboard, Windows
               operating system, Notebook Software, projector and a connected
               SMART Board with SMART Board tray pens and eraser
               the student will place SMART Board eraser and pens in their
               appropriate spots on the SMART Board pen tray
