Objectives

At the end of this workshop, participants will

bulletDo basic background work on designing an instructional website, including analyzing goals, learners, and contexts and designing the information, interactions, connections, and structure of the site.
bulletCreate an instructional website in FrontPage 2003, including a variety of features such as themes, shared borders, and others.
bulletCreate a variety of pages within the site that include text, images, links, forms, and so on.
bulletUse FrontPage 2003 to manage, maintain, and update your Web site.
bulletInclude interactive elements in your Web site using FrontPage 2003 in conjunction with other programs.
bulletUnderstand the process for publishing a site to the World Wide Web using FrontPage 2003.

There are many assignments listed for this course. Several of them are required; others are optional, but useful in completing the required website.

Policies

This workshop conforms to the policies and procedures of the College of Education and Kent State University. It will be graded on a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis. There will be additional work outside the class time in order to receive the two credits offered for completing the workshop satisfactorily.
