Occasionally you may need (or just want) to get quick answers to questions from me. One good way to do this is through instant messages. There are a variety of IM systems available, but the one I use is AOL Instant Messenger. If you put me on your Buddy List in AIM, then you will see when I am online. If I am online, I am willing to talk to you.

Here's how you obtain and use the software:

	Download the software from http://www.aim.com/index.adp?promo=208886&aolperm=h
	Signup for a unique screen name at the same time.
	Double-click on the file you downloaded and follow the directions to install it.
	Signon to the system using the screen name and password you created.
	Use the List Setup tab to include me on your Buddy List. My screen name is Chip11

If you already use AOL or AIM, then you can just add me to your Buddy List.

AIM is free. You do not have to be a member of AOL to use it.
