Microsoft FrontPage 2002 has several ways to view your web site. The Views icons appear at the left side of the FrontPage window. Click on an icon to switch to that view.

Most of your time in FrontPage will be spent in the Page View, where you edit the individual pages in your site.

The Folders View shows you an Explorer-like view of all the folders and files in your site. Use this view to do file management, including renaming files, moving them into folders, and so forth.

The Reports View shows you important information about your site, such as slow pages, broken links, and other problems. As your site grows, you should learn to use this view. You will be grateful for it.

The Navigation View allows you to set up a hierarchical structure for your web site. You can add pages to the structure, move them around, and even create new pages here. This structure will be reflected in your Link Bars and Page Banners.

The Hyperlinks View shows all the links coming into a specific page (from the current site) and all the links going from this page to other pages in the site and also to other sites on the web. This can help you track your site structure, find broken links, find orphan pages (with nothing linking to them), and so forth.

Finally, the Tasks View is kind of a To Do List for the development of your site. It can be handy whether you are the only one working on a web site or part of a team.

Click on any of the View icons in the Views graphic here to get more information about that view.
