One of the key characteristics of any web page is how long
it takes to download. Most people are unwilling to wait long for a web page
to arrive at their computer. Microsoft FrontPage 2002 shows the download
time for a given connection speed in the lower right hand corner of the
window.
The default connection speed is a 28.8 bps modem, but you can change
that. Go to the Tools menu... Options. Select the Reports View tab and use
the drop down menu to change the default connection speed.
The page with a 68 second download time is probably too big, unless your
students have broadband connections.
