We are increasingly using email for both personal and professional purposes.
As we do so, we must take into account the differences between these types of
communications. We also need to remember that email messages stand alone,
without us there to soften criticism with a smile or correct a misunderstanding.
I won't try to list a set of rules here, but there are a variety of web sites
that do hit on some of the major "netiquette" issues.
