Goals and Objectives

  • Learners will describe the importance of analyzing and designing a website before building it.
  • Learners will edit existing design documents such as audience analyses, site structure charts, and so on.
  • Learners will create design documents such as audience analyses, site structure charts, and so on for a website of their choosing.
  • Learners will edit existing Web pages to make them conform more closely to guidelines on writing for the Web.
  • Learners will identify and fix potential usability problems in designs for various websites.
  • Learners will design evaluations of website designs and implement them.

Grading

  • This workshop is graded on a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis. To receive a grade of S, a student must complete all of the required assignments and participate actively in class. Attendance at both days is required.
