Goals and Objectives
- Learners will describe the importance of analyzing and designing a website
before building it.
- Learners will edit existing design documents such as audience analyses,
site structure charts, and so on.
- Learners will create design documents such as audience analyses, site
structure charts, and so on for a website of their choosing.
- Learners will edit existing Web pages to make them conform more closely to
guidelines on writing for the Web.
- Learners will identify and fix potential usability problems in designs for
various websites.
- Learners will design evaluations of website designs and implement them.
Grading
- This workshop is graded on a Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory basis. To receive
a grade of S, a student must complete all of the required assignments and
participate actively in class. Attendance at both days is required.
